This department came into existence in 1995 and since then it is scaling new heights.

The faculty here is one of the best faculty available in the Department of Technical Education, Punjab. We provide quality education that makes students smart enough to take upon challenges of the world. We use various types of smart classes/multimedia and other teaching aids. Our teachers are continuously improving their skills by attending hands on courses offered by AICTE and MHRD.

We have various hardware and software laboratories, workshops, physics and chemistry laboratories for hands-on-experiences. Students are encouraged to play sports for their all round development. The campus has huge playgrounds too. There is an annual inter polytechnic youth festivals conducted by our central body and students of CSE are front runners and winners many times. We also conduct annual Athletic meets which keep our students healthy and physically fit. There are annual educational tours conducted for the students also.

We are proud of our alumni which is working at top positions in many multinational companies. Our former students have been placed in Bhaba Atomic Research Centre, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Sri Guru Ram Das ji Hospital, Accenture and in major government jobs at Department of Technical Education in Punjab, higher/secondary education of Punjab, BSNL etc.
